Fun with homophones and trolls

Ever since a homophone took down my business, I can't help but notice them everywhere.

homophone (häm'ǝfōn) —n. a word pronounced the same as another but differing in meaning

Sometimes I find them very entertaining, such as in this week's supermarket flyer:

Finally, proof that wild northern trolls exist. You're welcome.

That made me think....

Wild northern trolls are now selling us food. Sleep tight.

And the more I thought about it, the more I wondered how it came to be...

Hats off to the purchasing agent who bought from a wild northern troll and lived to tell about it.

But wait!

Um, I'm pretty sure wild northern trolls don't share.

So what is really going on?

You caught a wild northern troll and you show me a piece of fish?!

And then I realized,

Turns out wild northern trolls look a lot like fish.
